Pie and beer in the Devon countryside, what more can you ask for? Shooting food photography at the Coppa Dolla Inn, Broadhempston near Totnes. Trust us these pies taste are as good as they look.
It is important for all food establishments to have great photographs as all customers eat with their eyes. The Coppa Dolla’s simple one page website let’s the food do the talking, enticing customers to come and try their food. This Devon pub needed photos to both highlight the quality of the food, but to also showcase how cosy and atmospheric the pub itself is.
Located in the centre of the tranquil village of Broadhempston, nestled in the valley of the River Hem, situated just a short drive from Totnes. The Coppa Dolla Inn offers a traditional pub atmosphere with open log fires, rustic furnishing and a large beer garden located in stunning surroundings. Home of the famous 2 in 1 pie, we wanted their photos to show the honesty of their product – they boast a generation to generation family recipe, serving the pies still bubbling on wooden boards. You simply get a friendly welcome, local beer and proper food.
We spent 4 hours on site using a Canon 80D experimenting with all different styles and areas of the pub to make the most of the atmosphere there. Mixing up photographs of the delicious food and the scenery surrounding the Coppa Dolla.
Check out their Instagram account which we helped setup, using a mix popular local and relevant foodie hashtags to encourage the locals 🙂
